I am an ex-pat living in the UK for the last two decades. I was a social worker up until I was diagnosed with lymphoma last year. Thankfully now in remission, I am looking to change my life in order to live as a human being instead of a human doing. I enjoyed writing 37K words this year in my first NaNo and want to carry on exploring how writing more uncovers different parts of myself. Someone from the local NaNo shared a link about this on Discord and am excited to have a year long adventure to do up until and including the next NaNoWriMo. I am also ready to launch my first blog which is also perfect timing.
